1. Introduction
Welcome to VRL Cargo Packers and Movers. By utilizing our website or engaging our Shifting Services in Rajkot and across India, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with your booking.
2. Quotations and Booking
Our initial quotes are based on the inventory details provided by the customer or surveyed by our representatives. Please note:
- The final quotation may vary if there is an increase in the volume of goods, changes in the destination, or requirements for specialized packing on the day of the move.
- All quotes are valid for a limited period, typically 15 days from the date of issuance.
- Booking confirmation requires an advance payment, as agreed upon during the quotation phase.
3. Payment Terms
To ensure smooth operations for both Local and Long Distance Packers and Movers Rajkot services, we adhere to the following payment policies:
- An advance payment is required to confirm your booking and schedule the transport.
- The remaining balance must be cleared before the unloading of goods at the destination.
- We issue an IBA approved bill upon successful payment, which can be used for corporate or bank reimbursement claims.
- We accept payments via Bank Transfer, UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, and Cash.
4. Insurance and Liability
We take the utmost care during packing, loading, and transit. However, we strongly recommend opting for transit insurance for your complete peace of mind.
- Transit insurance is calculated based on the declared value of your goods.
- VRL Cargo is not liable for any internal damage to electronic goods unless there is evident external physical damage to the casing or the packing material.
- We are not responsible for delays or damages caused by "Acts of God" (natural disasters, heavy rains, earthquakes), riots, strikes, or government restrictions.
- High-value items must be explicitly declared before the move begins.
5. Restricted and Prohibited Items
For safety and legal reasons, VRL Cargo Packers and Movers will strictly not transport the following items:
- Flammable liquids, explosives, hazardous chemicals, and compressed gases.
- Perishable food items and liquids that may leak or spoil.
- Cash, jewelry, important personal documents, and extremely high-value items (customers must carry these personally).
- Illegal or smuggled goods.
6. Cancellations and Postponements
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or postpone your shifting date, please inform us as soon as possible:
- Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the scheduled packing date may be eligible for a refund of the advance amount, subject to minor processing deductions.
- Last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours) may incur a cancellation fee to cover labor and vehicle booking costs.
- Postponing a move is subject to availability and may result in revised pricing depending on the new dates.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms, or our packing and moving services, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Rajkot, Gujarat.
